Inspired by the creatures of the deep ocean. Growing up, I was a fan of Jacques Cousteau. Some part of me wishes I could live under the sea. The painting was meant to give a sense of the ethereal quality to the fish of the deep. The blue particles rushing by were added to give the feeling of a momentary snapshot into a wondrous world.
